Hello, I'm Malia Zornoza, and I'm from California. My major is mathematics and I play on the Gallaudet’s women's basketball and volleyball teams. The Field House is the University’s athletics facility which seats approximately 3,000 people. The Field House and Annex contain six racquetball courts, a swimming pool, a dance studio for the world-renowned Gallaudet Dance Company, a weight training room and classrooms. The building also houses the Athletics Department, the Department of Physical Education and Recreation, and the intramural sports program. Gallaudet has 14 men's and women's varsity sports teams including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, track and field, volleyball, and cheerleading. Gallaudet is home to some of the best Deaf coaches out there. Our coaches are former professional players, former Deaflympic athletes, and more. Each May, Gallaudet graduates wrap up their academic careers here in the Field House. Will you be walking the stage in the Field House when it comes time for you to graduate from Gallaudet?
